The Rotary Club of Sarnia-Bluewaterland scored full marks for their 2015 Art in the Park show and sale. Despite the early predictions for rain and high winds the weatherman helped out by providing a perfect day for the one day art show and sale. Visitors enjoyed plenty of on-site parking and a beautiful tree lined setting for visitors along the paved Artisans Avenue. An army of welcoming volunteers helped out both vendors and visitors.
The Food Court served up some great snacks and lunch items. The pulled pork sandwiches turned out to be a big hit. Sitara offered several Indian dishes that proved to be very popular.. The warm sunny day helped the vendors sell out of their favourite desserts. The ever popular popcorn booth staffed by the Investors Group was a big favourite with old an young alike
It seemed that everyone enjoyed themselves. Artists, visitors and volunteers all raved about the event and how well organized it was. It will be a real challenge for Bluewaterland Rotary to outdo themselves for the 2016 event slated for September 10, 2016. But we know that they are up for the challenge.
